Manchester United have made an opening bid worth more than £35million for Moussa Dembele.
The 22-year-old has scored 23 goals in his first season for Lyon and is attracting interest from a number of Europe’s top sides after the summer transfer window opened.
Dembele, who played for Celtic before moving to Ligue 1 last summer, has been a long-term target for United.
