League leaders Manchester United host bottom of the table Sheffield United on Wednesday at Old Trafford, a win widens their lead over second-place Manchester City.
The contrast in the two teams is pretty staggering, with United losing just one of their last 13 matches in all competitions, winning nine of those while Sheffield United have collected just five points from a possible 57 in the league and remain on course to go down with the lowest points tally in Premier League history.
Back in December, United won 3-2 at Bramall Lane, thanks to a Marcus Rashford double and a strike from Anthony Martial. United and the Blades have met on 96 occasions in all competitions with United coming out on top in 46 of them. The Yorkshire side have won 34 of the encounters, with 16 matches ending all square.
Manchester United Team News
Not much in the way of team news, Marcus Rashford sustained a knock late on against Liverpool at the weekend and, while the issue is not thought to be serious, the forward is unlikely to be risked on Wednesday.
Anthony Martial is expected to come into the side for Rashford, while Fernandes is among those likely to be restored to the XI after being named on the bench last time out.
This game does provide Solskjaer with a chance to rotate his side slightly, however, meaning that Pogba may be given a breather.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, Matic; Greenwood, Fernandes, Martial; Cavani
