The Court of Arbitration for Sport announced that a 2-year European football ban has been lifted for Manchester City. Sheikh Mansour sent a massive group of lawyers to Switzerland for this case. Mansour proved that if you pay enough money then your legal problems go away.
While the case was overturned, City still is being forced to pay a €10 ($1.13) million fine for lack of cooperation during the investigation. With this ruling, City showed that they will never face major consequences if they can afford a colossal legal team.
Javier Tebas, La Liga president, expressed his thoughts on the ruling, “We have to reassess whether the CAS is the appropriate body to which to appeal institutional decisions in football…Switzerland is a country with a great history of arbitration; the CAS is not up to standard.
For Manchester United, top 4 has become essential. If Ole wants Champions League football, then we need to win the Europa League or finish in the top 4. The best way to prove to the City scum that United do not care if they are banned is to qualify for the Champions League the hard way!
United cannot control the CAS, but the Red Devils control their own destiny for this season. Ole, the time is now!
Glory Glory Man United.
