The American Red Devils Introduce Than as a Guest Contributor

Introduction

Hey everyone! My name is Than Harrington and I thrilled to be joining the American Red Devils crew. Before we dive into my role here, I want to let you get to know who I am.

I currently reside in Central PA with my wife, son and daughter as well as our dog. When it comes to interest and hobbies, I have a wide range of different hobbies which have all afforded me great opportunities. I am an avid powerlifter and gamer as well as a lover of music and the great outdoors. In terms of sports other than our beloved Red Devils, I am a proud fan of the following organizations.

In regards to Manchester United, I am a member of the Manchester United Supporters Trust.

Why Manchester United

Manchester United came to me by way of a childhood friend of mine. I would go over to his house and play FIFA with him every weekend. At the time, he would use Arsenal and their newly acquired Thierry Henry. I struggled to find any way to beat him until I stumbled across a team with a man by the name of David Beckham who changed my luck. After my initial few times playing as United, I began to inquire as much as I could about the club. I found myself wanting to know more about the “Theatre of Dreams”, the club’s past and the current players. The rest as they say is history…..

I, as do all of you, have my favorite players from past and present squads. I could go on and on about some of the greats that have worn our badge with honor and pride. I can honestly say though that I have a definitive top five which follows as such…..

I will say that my number one all time is not your normal pick by most. He was a bully on the field and could strike fear in the hearts of the opposition just by stepping on the pitch.

My Role:

I will be covering the Academy for the American Red Devils by highlighting some of our brightest up and coming talents each week. My plan is to review the matches during the past week and provide the fans with my thoughts on one players performance and why I have selected them as my “Ones to Watch”.
