At the beginning of this summer transfer window, fan sentiment was sky high. Manchester United finished 3rd in the Premier League and secured Champions League football, with the important television revenue that comes with it.
Ole held up his part of the bargain; he took a young squad (actually, the youngest in the PL for the 19/20 season) and improved it from 6th last season, to 3rd this season. It’s a team brimming with talent that’s desperately calling for additional quality and depth in order to compete for silverware.
Well snap back to reality folks, because many of us who forgot how terrible the owners of Manchester United truly are, are about to get a stark reminder.

According to a source close to the Glazers, the family has no intention of making any additional cash infusions into Manchester United this summer, instead prioritizing their annual $20M dividend as their “only priority”.
Ole is expected to get a paltry net spend of only ~$30 million, with any additional funding required to come from player sales.
Well there you have it. That’s how we get from Jadon Sancho as Ole’s number one priority, to bidding for bargain-bin winger David Brooks. No shots at the Bournemouth player, but that’s like being promised a Ferrari and ending up with a Fiat.
In 15 short years, the Glazer family, under the leadership of Ed Woodward, have turned the greatest football club in the history of the world, into a shadow of its former glory because of greed and incompetence.
Enough is enough. Manchester United does not belong to them, it belongs to the fans. Without us, they are nothing. Never let them forget that.
Glazers Out!

Completely agree, but how have we won 5 titles and a CL with the Glazers? Genuinely curious… I guess the core like Rooney were already in place and we didn’t have to spend as much?
