In life, there’s just about nothing worse than writing a blog and immediately being wrong about everything you said. I suppose committing war crimes or being a City fan is worse, but I digress. I messed up and got it all wrong. INEOS, lets just let bygones be bygones, I was a little harsh, hormonal, and felt emotionally vulnerable. Please forgive me Sir Jim.
In the span of a few short weeks, INEOS and the new management team have managed to do all of the following: sign Dan Ashworth to Director, sign some head scout from Chelsea, sold WIlly Kambwala, Donny Van de Bench, Mason Greenwood, and signed both Joshua Zirkzee and Lenny Yoro. 2 years ago, that would be more than enough transfer activity to award Ed Woodward and John Murtough a much needed vacation to Barcelona.
I truly can’t believe what I’m seeing. There are real quotes about players and ambitions from the executives that have not been seen in years. I could not be more prepared to run off Vibes FC more than ever this upcoming season. With apparently at least a couple more transfers in and out expected to happen before the window closes, Dan Ashworth and co have managed to set United on a course for sustained success that involves the procurement and development of talented young players. Literally nothing can ruin my vibe right now. That is unless shitfootball.com returns next season.
