PANIC BUY F.C. – Glazers Leave Business Late AGAIN!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Someone Smarter than Ed Woodward

Manchester United’s board are doing the same thing to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer they did to Jose Mourinho, hanging him out to dry after qualifying Champions League football. With four days left in the international transfer window, Woodward has shown once again, that he doesn’t have a clue.

What is Happening?

Properly run football clubs don’t operate this way. Every elite football club throughout Europe employs the use of Director of Football, to oversee continuity and ensure footballing operations run smoothly. But Manchester United is no longer a football club in the traditional sense; our beloved club has literally been turned into a trust fund for a family solely motivated by greed.

Woodward and Matt Judge continue to run the football operations because they helped orchestrate the financial coup the Glazers pulled off to buy the club in 2005. With them in charge, the Glazer family can rest easy knowing the stewards of Manchester United F.C. will be prioritizing their family’s financial gain, over the success of this storied club.

Fergie Knew

Whatever Woodpecker and Jughead are able to pull off in dying days of the window, remember this. Remember what the greatest manager in the history of the sport said to us only seven years ago:

“You’re job now is to stand by the new manager.” – SAF aka the G.O.A.T.

  • When injuries strike this year and Ole is stuck without reinforcements, remember those words.
  • If we don’t make it out of the Champions League group stage, remember those words.
  • If miss out on Champions League football, remember those words.

Our ability to achieve football success will always be limited as long as the Glazer family continue to own the club. Remember that when the press and Twitter starts asking for the Norwegian’s head.

Back the manager!

The board certainly isn’t…

About Alex 111 Articles
My name is Alex and I am a co-host of the American Red Devils podcast, and discovered the greatest football club in the world freshman year in highschool, after playing FIFA '99 on Nintendo 64. Originally it was the red hair of Paul Scholes that caught my attention, given the four Gingers in my family, but I never knew a redhead could ball like Scholesy. However, what really sucked me in was the arrival of Wayne Rooney at the club, to this day my all-time favorite player. I was lucky enough to witness my first game at Old Trafford in '07 while studying abroad, witnessing the 4-0 thrashing of Wigan. I rented a car and drove down for the day from Edinburgh to Manchester and back (NYC to Boston twice), driving on the wrong side of the car and the road! Lucky enough to be in Sunderland to see Zlatan's last United goal and in London to see Matic's stoppage time screamer at Selhurst. Honored and privileged to be a Manchester United fan.
